Better update

Like I mentioned earlier there was a game last night. It was also the last home game of the football season and the longhorns went out with a bang. Thats always a good thing right?
Well sometime last night, the top of my left foot started to hurt. I'm pretty sure that it happened during work only because it wasn't hurting before. Well now, I hurt on my left side of my back. It hurts to move. At least tonight, I might get a back rub :). Now thats always a good thing.
This stinks.
Well now I have plans for New Years eve. I will be working all day long. I know I will be tired and pooped! Oh well. JD's working that night, so its not like I had any plans, although I was considering going to this thing that one of my friends invited me to. Now I have definite plans. Anywhoo.. I'm signing off.

Short update.

I promise, I'm alive. Today, well yesterday was the Texas and A&M game. Texas won by 40 points! Hook em' horns! Well my foot is hurting for some odd reason. It started at work. Hm, I think I accidentally twisted it. That's the only reason, because it wasn't hurting before I left for work. Weird. Anywho, I'm tired. Goodnight and Good morning for those attending black friday!

Is it possible?

Texas beat Oklahoma.
Texas Tech beat Texas.
Oklahoma beat Tech.
Last night's Sooner win over the Red Raider gave the Big 12 South, a three way tie. What does this mean? Does the Longhorns actually have a chance to go to the Big 12 Championship game and then go to the big dance? Or will they screw Texas over and allow Oklahoma jump ahead of Texas?
Texas won their game against Oklahoma. For that reason alone, Texas should be ahead on the BCS ranking. Texas deserves to go to the big game. Colt McCoy has been doing a wonderful job. The Longhorns should be very proud of themselves. They have done a great job this year.
The next game is against Texas A&m.
Watch it and be amazed. You might just convert into a Longhorn fan.

Its been awhile hasn't it?

Its been a long time since I have updated. Well starting from Friday to tuesday, I have been working non-stop (its seems like) at my one and only part time job! It been a whirlwind, but it has kept me busy!
Yesterday I went wedding dress shopping and took JD with me. The lady was nice, but because it was a sample sale (meaning you buy off the rack), the lady said that there wasn't any in my "size". Uhmm did she think I was going in there to try on dresses that had my size? I mean, the point is trying to find a dress that you will love and feel comfortable in on you wedding day right? She also referred me to other dress shops, which one, I didn't like anything I saw on their website (at least for one), and two which I felt that since she referred me to another dress shop she didn't want to help me at all. I find that all rude.

I guess JD sensed that something was wrong after we left. There was no way that I was going to stay there and shop, when she didn't want my business. WHich is fine with me, because I will find a dress shop that will treat me with respect and would want my business. Oh, and because I am not on http://www.theknot.com/, I will name the bridal shop.

Do not shop at Serendipity Bridal on Anderson Lane, because they will treat you like crap and won't want to help you if you are not in their ideal size. Even if their are being polite, they will make you feel self concious like I felt after leaving the store.

I have got to say that JD is the best. After he knew that I was feeling upset, he suggested that we do something to cheer me up. I love my booger head!

Holidays are coming!!!

I love this time of year! Yes, for me Thanksgiving and Christmas are like championship games. They come once a year and every time its better. I don't know why I love them. Perhaps its because its the giving of a gift someone wanted but couldn't get, or all the family time that comes with the holidays. All I know is that my kids will come to love the holidays (hopefully just like me). I can't hardly wait, although, this year I am working the Texas vs. Texas A&M game on Thanksgiving. Oh well, I will just have to have my thankgiving the day before!

So I was lazy yesterday, but America has chosen.

Yesterday was Tuesday November 4, 2008. It was a day where U.S. citizen had a choice, whether we have McCain or Obama in office. It didn't matter if one should stay in the office because they both were not the previous president.

Many people were watching the election results. It became clear who would be the president elect last night. Last night Barack Obama was voted as the 44th U.S. President. Yesterday, America voted and decided it was time for a change. Yesterday, either party would have made the history books. Yesterday Obama made that happen.
