Cold day

Cold day's!! How I love you. A cold front came in earlier today and I love it! I can't stand the summer heat, only because it is so hot here in Texas. But I have to tolerate it only because I live in Texas. Don't get me wrong. I like living in Texas. If there was one thing I could change it would be the ability to have different seasons!

These are some pictures I took just today! Not bad eh?

My dad

My dad is turning a year older this saturday. EEK! I need to buy a card today!

Love/hate relationship

I have a love/hate relationship. With whom you ask? With running. Yes, I have said it out loud. My name is Kimsukyi and I have a love/hate relationship with running.
I know running loves when I need to run. Why? Well, I think its for the pure torture that running gives out. I hate to run, but because I am trying to live healthier, I am running. Well I am running to a program called Couch to 5K. I have done it in the past and everytime I am in the fourth week, I call it quits. Well, guess what? I am done calling it quits. I will get past week 4 and then I will be the one laughing.
I found out about the Couch to 5k from one of the many message boards on the knot .com. I then went to Cool Running website. It looked good and it would get me on the right track. So as of today, this is week one. I will update every week about the program.

Missing my family

This past saturday, JD's family came to visit. I have to admit, it was kind of awkward but overall it was a good visit. It made me miss my family more and realize that I won't have these kind of visits because they live on the east coast. Granted his parents were in Central Texas for the weekend because they live in West Texas.

For the upcoming holidays, I won't be with my family. We alternate between his family and mine every year. Since we went to visit my family last year, we are going to visit his family this year. Not that I don't want to visit his family, I just want to see mine. I haven't seen this since I graduated earlier this year. I know I know, stop whining and crying. Your an adult now. However, I am so close to my family!! I just love them so much!

Just as I promised

I told you that I would give you a little more detail on the three items I completed on my 101 list.
First is number 70, which was clean and organize my closet space. I don't have any good pictures, so I am not going to put up any. Lets just say this. My closet feels much bigger now that I have rearranged some items.

Next, number 82 and 83 are pretty self explanatory. The day that I changed my drivers license, I registered to vote. It was a pretty easy process, considering I did not have to retake the driver's test since my GA license was not expired. I noticed some differences between GA and TX.

1. In GA its called a Department of Motor Vehicles or DMV. In Texas it is called the Department of Public Safety or DPS.
2. In Texas you get a temporary license. This means not waiting for you license to print and that your actual license is mailed to you. However, in GA you get your license right there. They have to print it out, but you can take it home immediately.
3. The driver's test procedure is somewhat different. In GA you don't wait in a line. Once you check in for your appointment, they meet with you and walk you to your car. In TX you actually drive in a line and wait for them outside.

Thats pretty much it. I just hate my picture. Can I take another one?
